RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE REQUEST OF LITTLE RIVER HII.LS
CIVIC ASSOCIATION, BY ROBERT ERLICH, VICE PRESIDENT, FOR A
SPECIAL EXCEPTION TO MODIFY CITY CODE SECTION 26-44
(TABLE II) - TO ALLOW TWO GROUND-MOUNTED SIGNS WITHIN
THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY AT THE INTERSECTION OF MAIN
STREET AND ESTEL ROAD.
WHEREAS, Little River Hills Civic Association, by Robert Erlich, Vice
President, has submitted Application No. SE-238-98-1 requesting a Special Exception
to modify City Code Section 26-44 (Table II) - to allow two ground-mounted signs
within the right-of-way of Main Street and Estel Road; and
WHEREAS, City Council has determined that the proposed Special Exception
is appropriate because the proposal meets the requisites for approval of special
exceptions established by City of Fairfax Code Sections 26-48 and Section 26-
lO3(c)(1-13).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax on this 23~a day of March, 1999, that Application No. SE-238-98-1 be and
hereby is APPROVED.
