RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE REQUEST OF JOHN H. RUST, JR.,
AGENT FOR THE CITY OF FAIRFAX SCHOOL BOARD, FOR A
SPECIAL EXCEPTION TO CHAPTER 26 OF THE CITY CODE ON THE
PREMISES KNOWN AS JERMANTOWN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, 3614
JERMANTOWN ROAD, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS
TAX MAP PARCEL 47-3-((2))-40.
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax School Board has submitted application No.
SE-250-99-1 requesting a special exception to modify Section 26-24(k) of the City
Code to move overhead utility lines at 3614 Jermantown Road; and
WHEREAS, City Council has determined that the proposed special exception
is appropriate because the proposal meets the requisites established by City of
Fairfax Code Section 26-71.2 and Section 26-103(c);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax on this 14~ day of September, 1999, that Application No. SE-250-99-1 be and
hereby is APPROVED.
