RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE REQUEST OF PAUL VI HIGH
SCHOOL BY CHARLES C. NERN, AGENT, FOR APPROVAL OF
SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS TO CHAPTER 26 OF THE CITY CODE ON
THE PREMISES KNOWN AS 3939 OAK STREET, AND MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS TAX MAP PARCEL 57-1-((2))-115.
WHEREAS, Paul VI High School by Charles C. Nern, Agent, has submitted
Application No. SE-201-97-1 requesting special exceptions to the City Code listed below:
Section 26-43(a)(1) to allow modifications of the sign location requirement to
erect a new sign not on the same property as the principal use.
Section 26-44, Table 1 to allow a sign area in excess of that which is allowed
by Section 26-44, Table 1.
WHEREAS, City Council has considered the application with respect to the
criteria contained in the City of Fairfax Code Section 26-lo3(c), and has determined that
the proposed special exceptions are appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax on this 24th day of June, 1997, that the requested special exceptions as proposed
by application SE-201-97-1, be and hereby are APPROVED.
