ALTERNATIVE FUEL REVOLVING FUND
MATCHING GRANT APPLICATION
WHEREAS, the City Council realizes the importance of alterna-
tive fuels and air quality within the boundaries of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia; and
WHEREAS, the Virginia Alternative Fuel Revolving Fund is for
the allocation of public funds for the purpose of enhancing the use
of alternative fuels; and
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS, having reviewed and accepted the guidelines for use
of said funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city Council of the
City of Fairfax hereby endorses and supports such a program for the
City of Fairfax as is indicated in the attached application form;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes the
City Manager to plan, budget and apply for a grant which, if
approved, will be used to fund said program; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council requests the
Department of Transportation to consider and approve said applica-
tion and program, said program being in accord with the regulations
governing use and expenditure of said funds.
