RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT AND MUTUAL
RELEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA,
AND STAR ENTERPRISE, SAUDI REFINING, INC.,
TEXACO MARKETING AND REFINING, (EAST) INC.,
TEXACO, INC., TEXACO REFINING AND MARKETING,
INC., AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that City Council hereby approves a Settlement Agreement
and Mutual Release (the "Agreement") between the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, Star Enterprise, Saudi Refining, Inc., Texaco Marketing
and Refining, (East) Inc., Texaco, Inc., and Texaco Refining and
Marketing, Inc., a copy of which is attached to this Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that the Mayor is
authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City.
