RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE REQUEST OF BRUCE A. WYMAN,
PROPERTY OWNER, FOR A SPECIAL EXCEPTION TO ALLOW THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A RESIDENTIAL DECK, WHICH IS PARTIALLY IN
THE CHESAPEAKE BAY RESOURCE PROTECTION AREA, ON THE
PREMISES KNOWN AS 3519 JEAN STREET, AND MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS TAX MAP PARCEL 57-2-((9))-94.
WHEREAS, Bruce A. Wyman, property owner, has submitted application No.
SE-110-93-1 requesting a Special Exception to the City Code Section 26-19.3; and
WHEREAS, City Council has determined that the proposed Special Exception
is appropriate because the proposal meets the requisites established by City of Fairfax
Code Section 26-19.3 for the following reasons:
The minor nature of the proposed deck construction will not result in any
measurable increase in pollutant runoff;

Approval of the proposed construction will not affect the water quality of
the adjacent stream;
e
The proposed deck construction will allow storm water to continue to
drain in its existing pattern; and
The request is consistent with the purpose of the City's Chesapeake Bay
Preservation Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax on this 23rd day of March, 1993, that application No. SE-110-93-1 be and
hereby is APPROVED.
