RESOLUTION NO. R-92-7
STREET MAINTENANCE INVENTORY LIST
WHEREAS, Section 33.1-41.1 of the Code of Virginia provides
for the Commonwealth Transportation Board'to make payment to cities
for the maintenance of streets that meet minimum standards; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has added 5.97 lane miles of City
streetS due to a boundary adjustment and other new construction
which meet the minimum standards required for maintenance funding;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Fairfax, Virginia, does hereby request the Commonwealth
Transportation Board to accept the attached listing of streets,
being a net addition of 5.97 lane miles, as being eligible for
maintenance funds.
