19900410 r-90-13RESOLUTION NO. R-90-13 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE REQUEST OF CHEVY CHASE SAVINGS BANK, F.S.B. BY DAVID J. SICCA, VICE PRESIDENT, FOR A SPECIAL EXCEPTION FROM CHAPTER 26 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3941 PICKETT ROAD AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS TAX MAP 58-3- ((2)) -23A. WHEREAS, Chevy Chase Savings Bank has submitted application No. SE-71-90-1 requesting a Special Exception to the City Code section listed below: Section 26-39.4(b) (3)f: To permit a stacking lane with five stacking spaces where eight stacking spaces are required for the first drive-in ATM of a bank with drive- in facilities. WHEREAS, City Council has determined that the proposed Special exception is appropriate because the proposed development meets the requisites established by City of Fairfax Code Section 26-39.7(c) for the following reasons: ae Will not result in increased traffic congestion or negatively impact existing pedestrian or vehicular traffic flow or safety; Be Will not be contrary to objectives specified in the Comprehensive Plan; C. Will permit a reasonable use of the property; and D. Will not adversely impact adjacent properties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax on this 10th day of April , 1990, that application No. SE-71-90-1 be and hereby is APPROVED with the condition that the two parking spaces, which are blocked by the stacking lane, labeled with stars on the Special Exception/Special Use Permit Plat prepared by Dewberry & Davis and dated February 5, 1990 be replaced with a landscaped area.
