WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax needs additional public
parking in the downtown area and the property described as tax
map parcel number 57-4-((2))-120 is suitable for such public
purpose, and therefore a public necessity exists for the
acquisition of such parcel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Fairfax
Council authorizes and directs the initiation and pursuit of
condemnation proceedings to acquire tax map parcel
57-4-((2))-120 for public purposes according to state law.
