WHEREAS, at the August 29, 1989, city Council meeting, the
city Council of the city of Fairfax, Virginia, authorized and
directed the initiation and pursuit of condemnation proceedings
to acquire tax map parcel 57-4-((2))-120;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city Council hereby
authorizes the City Manager to initiate the statutory procedure
to notify the property owner or owners of tax map parcel number
57-4-((2))-120 (the ,,property") that the city, acting through
its duly authorized officers, agents or employees, shall enter
the property for the purposes described in Section 25-232.1 of
the Code of Virginia.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes the
city Manager to obtain all necessary testing services to
determine the suitability of the property for public use and
authorizes city officers, agents or employees to enter the
property to perform such services.
