CERTIFICATE OF TAKING
This is to certify that the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia, has directed to be taken for a right turn
lane from Main Street on Judicial Drive a portion of a
certain tract or parcel of land owned by Norman T. and
Lucilla B. Higginbotham, and in conjunction therewith
certain easements all of which is more particularly
described on the plat attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference. The above described tract or parcel is
located at Main Street and Judicial Drive and known as
parcel 57-]-( (2))-] ] 9 on the City of Fairfax Tax Map and
being the same tract or parcel acquired by the owner by deed
recorded among the land records of Fairfax County, Virginia
in Deed Book 760 at Page 343 and Deed Book ]047 at Page 260.
The City of Fairfax estimates the fair value for the above
described property and easements hereby taken to be
$9, 838 . 00. This amount, or such other sum as may be
directed by the Circuit Court of Fairfax County, Virginia,
will be paid by the Treasurer of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia pursuant to the Order of such Circuit Court as
provided by Title 33. ] of the Code of Virginia, ] 950, as
amended.
