RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND
TRANSPORTATION TO DESIGNATE NEW PICKETT ROAD AS ROUTE 237
WHEREAS, it is necessary for a formal request to be made to the Depart-
of Highways and Transportation of the Commonwealth of Virginia by Council
of the City of Fairfax by resolution to designate Pickett Road as Route 237.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, at its regular meeting on this 27th day of January, 1987, that;
The Department of Highways and Transportation of the Commonwealth
of Virginia be, and it is hereby, requested to designate New
Pickett Road, from Route 50 south to Route 236 as the relocated
Route 237.
Adopted this 27th day of January, 1987.
