RESOLUTION DESIGNATING DEPOSITORIES
OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, that:
DOMINION NATIONAL BANK
FIRST AMERICAN BANK
SOVRAN BANK
GEORGE MASON BANK
be, and they are hereby, designated depositories of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, and
that funds so deposited may be withdrawn upon a check, draft, note or order of the
City of Fairfax, Virginia; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that as of May 27, 1987, Stephen L. Moloney, Treasurer, of
the City of Fairfax, Virginia, or Kenneth L. Ahl, II, Deputy Treasurer, are hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Fairfax, and in its name: to sign checks, drafts,
notes, bills, or other instruments made, drawn, or endorsed by the City of Fairfax;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the foregoing resolution shall remain in full
force and effect from May 27, 1987, until written notice of its amendment or rescis-
sion shall have been received by said banks and that receipt of such notice shall not
affect any action taken by the bank prior thereto; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to certify to said banks the
foregoing resolution.
