A RESOLUTION TO INCLUDE AMENDED SIGN PERMIT FEES IN
THE SCHEDULE OF RATES AND LEVIES.
WHEREAS, through systematic revision of the Zoning Ordinance, the City
Council has been removing fee requirements from the Ordinance and establishing
fees through a Schedule of Rates and Levies adopted by resolution; and
WHEREAS, sign permit fees are currently contained in the Zoning Ordinance;
and
WHEREAS, the proposed sign permit fees are appropriate and reasonable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, on this 23rd day of June , 1987, that the following
fees are hereby adopted and added to the Schedule of Rates and Levies:
Construction Signs
Special Events Signs
Business Openings and
Sales Events Signs
Residential Directional Signs
Political Signs less than
3 sq. ft. in area
Political Signs larger than
3 sq. ft.
All other signs:
$10.00 plus refundable $25.00 deposit
$5.00 per hundred

$30.00 each
