CITIZEN POLICE TASK FORCE
WHEREAS, adequate ~olice protection is of utmost concern to the citizens of
the Citer of Fairfax...
WHEREAS, this Council is committed to providing both the commercial and
residential communities of the City of Fairfax with an adequate level of ~)olice
l)rotection and service...
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The City Council is establishing a s~eeial citizens task force to
perform the following tasks:
A. to evaluate the present and future needs of the citizens of the
City of Fairfax (both commercial and residentiaD regarding
adequate levels of service and manpower requirements of the
Police Deoartment
B. other tasks concerning the Police Deoartment as requested by
the City Council and/or the City Manager
2. The Task Force will be in existence until a tel)oft containing
recommendation regarding their findings is given to the City
Council. This reoort should be in the hands of the Council no later
than November 1,1985.
3. The following citizens will be aopointed to serve on this Task Force:
Mr. Robert F. Lederer, Sr.
Mr. Rex Scouten
Mr. Stephen Harwood
