WHEREAS, the City Treasurer is and shall in the future be in possession of
certain tax tickets which have been paid; and
WHEREAS, these tax tickets have been paid for the statutory period of time;
WHEREAS, the City Treasurer desires to provide for the destruction of these
tax tickets pursuant to the provisions of Va. Code Ann. § 58.1-3129 (Repl. Vol.
1984);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, hereby consents to the destruction of all tax tickets pursuant to the
provisions of Va. Code Ann. §58.1-3129, as amended.
ADOPTED this 8th day of October , 1985 .
