A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE, TIME, AND PLACE OF THE PUBLIC
HEARING UPON THE BOND ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF
$5,275,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS AND $1,500,000 GENERAL
OBLIGATION BONDS INTRODUCED ON JANUARY 11, 1983, AND PROVIDING
FOR THE PUBLICATION OF SAID ORDINANCE WITH A NOTICE APPENDED
THERETO CONTAINING THE DATE, TIME, AND PLACE OF THE PUBLIC
HEARING.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. 8 o'clock p.m., January 25, 1983, in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, is set as the date, time, and place at which the
Council will hold a public hearing upon the bond ordinance
authorizing issuance of $5,275,000 general obligation bonds
and $1,500,000 general obligation bonds which was introduced
by motion unanimously adopted by the Council on the first
reading on January 11, 1983.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause the full text of said bond ordinance,
including its title, to be published in the Fairfax Journal, a
newspaper of general circulation in the City, no later than
three days after the introduction of said bond ordinance, with
a notice appended to such ordinance containing the date, time,
and place of the public hearing, which notice shall be in
substantially the following form:
"The foregoing ordinance was introduced by motion
unanimously adopted by the Council on the first reading
on January 11, 1983.
A public hearing will be held thereon at 8 o'clock
p.m., January 25, 1983, in the Council Chambers in the
City Hall of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, or an
adjournment thereof.
Section 3.
