WHEREAS, the case of Dennis L. Rubin vs. City of Fairfax,
Virginia, et al., Civil Action No. 82-947-A in the United
States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia
in Alexandria has been settled, and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax wishes to expedite the imple-
mentation of the settlement,
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Fairfax
hereby authorizes the City Manager to take all steps necessary
to assure that the terms of settlement are expeditiously imple-
mented.
