RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING NEW BANK ACCOUNTS
In accordance with the Financial Procedures Manual of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, Amendment 1, Section IV, Subsection D, the opening and closing of all bank
accounts must be authorized by the Mayor and City Council and having review
proposal for banking services submitted by six local banks;
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Treasurer is authorized to open a General
Fund Account and a Utility Fund Account at First American Bank, to deposit all
General Fund and Utility Fund receipts, respectively, to said accounts and that funds
so deposited may be withdrawn upon a check, draft, note or order of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all communications from said bank will be
addressed to City Hall, 10#5~ Armstrong Street, Fairfax, Virginia, 22030; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer is authorized to close the
General Fund Account and the Utility Fund Account at First and Merchants National
Bank.
