RESOLUTION DESIGNATING DEPOSITORIES
OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, that:
DOMINION NATIONAL BANK
FIRST AMERICAN BANK
FIRST AND MERCHANTS BANK
GEORGE MASON BANK
be, and they are hereby, designated depositories of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, and that
funds so deposited may be withdrawn upon a check, draft, note or order of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that as of February 1, 1982, 3ohn W. Coughlan,
Treasurer, of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City of
Fairfax, and in its name: to sign checks, drafts, notes, bills, or other instruments made,
drawn, or endorsed by the City of Fairfax; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the foregoing resolution shall remain in full
force and effect from February 1, 1982, until written notice of its amendment or rescis-
sion shall have been received by said banks and that receipt of such notice shall not af-
fect any action taken by the bank prior thereto; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City of Fairfax, Virginia,
be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to certify to said banks the foregoing resolu-
tion.
