OLD TOWN HALL OF FAIRFAX
WHEREAS, the Old Town Hall of Fairfax is presently held
by Trustees pursuant to a Deed from Jos. E. Willard and
Belle L. Wyatt Willard; and
WHEREAS, the Trustees of Old Town Hall and the Council
of the City of Fairfax agree that the Old Town Hall can best
be used by the citizens of the City of Fairfax if it is
owned and maintained by the City of Fairfax;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
The Council of the City of Fairfax is desirous of
obtaining fee simple title to the Old Town Hall of Fairfax
and the Council accepts the offering of the Trustees and
directs the staff and the Trustees of Old Town Hall to
forthwith proceed to obtain the acquiescence of the heirs of
the Willards.
