RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE FAIRFAX CITY DANCE
WHEREAS, Fairfax City civic associations and community leaders are coming
together to plan the Fairfax City Dance which will be held on
February 19, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Fairfax City Dance is to foster community
pride and cooperation, and draw residents into a greater awareness
of their neighbors and fellow citizens; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the City of Fairfax deem it appropriate
to recognize those who work so diligently to plan this most worthy
affair;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Fairfax
endorses the Fairfax City Dance, commends those individuals and
organizations whose dedication will ensure the success of this effort,
and encourages all Fairfax City residents to attend this gala community
event.
