AMENDED ESTIMATED ASSESSMENT
RESOLUTION FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS
ON A PORTION OF SCHOOL STREET
FROM ROUTE 123 TO THE WEST END OF SCHOOL STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council~adopted "Policies and Procedures for
Local Assessment Projects" on June 20, 1967, amended June 17, 1969,
and;
WHEREAS, the affected abutting property owners have been notified
of certain proposed improvements and the amount to be assessed against
them for such improvements and a public hearing held in accordance
with law and adopted policies.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works take
the necessary action to proceed with the construction of sidewalk,
curb and gutter and driveway approaches, in accordance with the plans
that have been prepared on a portion of School Street from Route 123
to the west end of School Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the affected abutting property listed
below be assessed an amount computed in accordance with adopted poli-
cies not to exceed the amended estimated amount shown. The following
amended estimates reflect the total estimated cost of improvements, in
contrast to the cost of improvements shown in Resolution No. R-80-5
which was the cost of improvements set off against the certified value
of the property taken.
