CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA
RESOLUTION FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF CHESTNUT STREET
FROM OAKWOOD DRIVE TO MAIN STREET
AND TO INCLUDE PARK ROAD, EAST AND WEST OF CHESTNUT STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted ollcles and Procedures for Local
Assessment Projects,, on June 20, 1967, amended June 17, 1969, and;
WHEREAS, the affected abutting property owners have been notified of
certain proposed improvements and the amount to be assessed against them for
such improvements and a public hearing held in accordance with law and adopted
policies.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Services take
the necessary action to proceed with the construction of sidewalk, curb and
gutter and driveway approaches, in accordance with the plans that have been
prepared on a portion of Chestnut Street from ~akwood Drive to Main Street and
to include Park Road east and west of Chestnut Street.
BE IT ~JRTHER RESOLVED that the affected abutting property listed below
be assessed an amount computed in accordance with adopted policies not to exceed
the estimated amount shown:
