CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA
FINAL RESOLUTION FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
ON A PORTION OF OAKWOOD DRIVE,
FROM MAPLE STREET TO FERN STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted "Policies and Procedures for Local
Assessment Projects" on June 20, 1967; amended June 17, 1969; and
WHEREAS, after due notice to the affected property owners and a public
hearing held in accordance with law and adopted policies, the City Council of
the City of Fairfax, Virginia, on December 7, 1976, authorized certain improve-
ments for which assessments may be made and caused an abstract of a resolution
showing the estimated amount to be assessed against each landowner to be
docketed in the Clerk's office of the Circuit Court of Fairfax County, Virginia;
and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Services took the necessary action
and completed the construction of the public improvements which included new
curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches, in accordance with the plans
prepared for a portion of Oakwood Drive, from Maple Street to Fern Street.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the affected property owners listed
below be assessed an amount computed in accordance with adopted policies based
on actual project cost, but not exceeding the previously recorded estimate.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the resolution adopted by the City Council
on December 7, 1976, and recorded at DB 4532, page 488, among the land records
of Fairfax County, Virginia, be amended to show the actual assessment as shown
below.
