A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AN ALTERNATE CITY
REPRESENTATIVE ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE METROPOLITAN WASHINGTON COUNCIL OF GOVERN-
MENTS.
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Max is the elected official of
the City of Fairfax, Virginia, designated by its City Council as
City representative on the Board of Directors of the Metro-
politan Washington Council of Governments; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Councilwoman Max will be unable
to attend the February 11, 1976 meeting of said Board because of
a recent bereavement in her family;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Fairfax, Virginia, that Nathaniel F. Younq be, and
he hereby is designated as the alternate City representative at
the February 11, 1976 meeting of the Board of Directors of the
Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Fairfax, Virginia, that Nathaniel F. Younq shall exercise all
duties, powers and rights, including voting rights, accorded the
regular City representative at this meeting.
