RESOLUTION FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON ~Id%~INIA STREET
NO. R-74-4
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted "Policies and Procedures for Local
Assessment Projects" on June 20, 1967, amended June 17, 1969, and;
WHEREAS, the affected abutting property owners have been notified of
certain proposed improvements and the amount to be assessed against them for
such improvements and a public hearing held in accordance with law and adopted
policies.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works take the
necessary action to proceed with the construction of sidewalk, curb and gutter
and driveway approaches, in accordance with the plans that have been prepared
on a portion of Virginia Street from State Route 236 to Dwight Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the affected abutting property listed below
be assessed an amount computed in accordance with adopted policies not to exceed
the estimated amount shown:
