RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AN ALTERNATE
REPRESENTATIVE TO THE N. V. T. C.
WHEREAS, Mayor Nathaniel F. Young has been designated as the representa-
tive of the City of Fairfax on the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission;
and,
WHEREAS, it appearing that Mayor Young may be unable to attend meetings
of said Commission in the immediate future as a result of his unfortunate
injury.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Theodore F. Grefe be, and he
hereby is, designated as the alternate representative of the City of Fairfax
on the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission, it being the intention
of the Council that he serve on said Commission at those meetings which
Mayor Young is unable to attend, and that, in such capacity, Councilman
Grefe shall exercise all rights, duties and powers, including voting rights,
accorded to the regular representative of the City of Fairfax.
