Be it resolved that the following revised procedures
for hearings on applications under the Planned Development
Ordinance, as amended and re-enacted on October 10, 1972, be
adopted in principle and used in practice by the City on all
PD applications not yet formally heard by the City Council.
Informal discussion with th~ City Council can be
initiated at the request of an applicant to determine whether
common grounds exist for proceeding under the terms of section 5
(Procedures) of the subject Planned Development Ordinance.
These discussions may be held at any time prior to the start
of formal Public Hearings by the Council as required by
section 5.e of the subject ordinance. No official action shall
be taken by the City Council, or its representative, and no
commitments shall be made by the City, or its representative,
during these discussions.
