Rt. 236-- One-Way Pair Resolution for Reconstruction of Westbound Lanes SUBJECT .............. ; ...................................................................... ; .......................................................................................................................... The Urban Office has indicated that they will now entertain a request for an additional project, since the One-Way Pair was approximately six months from bid. I have discussed with them the possibility of reconstructing the westbound lanes of Main Street between Route 237 and West Street, on the basis that there are such extensive maintenance needs in this section that reconstruction i~.indicated. They have agreed that they would be willing to undertake this project to provide three lanes, with curb, gutter and sidewalk and storm drainage, since there will be very little right-of-way acquisition necessary, if any. We would be required to fund our 15% of an approximate $200,000 project cost. This would possibly be bid within the next two years, which presumably would be FY 72-73. Dire~e~ of Public I CJJ/dml
