CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA
RESOLUTION FOR LOCAL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted "Policies and Procedures for
Local Assessment Projects" on June 20, 1967; and
WHEREAS, after due notice to the affected property owners and a
public hearing held in accordance with law and adopted policies, the City
Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, on May 6, 1969, authorized certain
improvements for which assessments may be made and caused an abstract of a
resolution showing the estimated amount to be assessed against each landowner
to be docketed in the Clerk's office of the Circuit Court of Fairfax County,
Virginia; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works took the necessary action
and completed the construction of said improvements including sidewalk on
portions of Layton Hall Drive and Bevan Drive in accordance with the plans
that were prepared.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the affected property owners listed
below be assessed an amount computed in accordance with adopted policies
based on actual project cost, but not exceeding the previously recorded
estimate.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the resolution adopted by the City
Council on May 6, 1969, and recorded at DB 3172, page 466 among the land
records of Fairfax County, Virginia, be amended to show the final assessment
as shown below.
