CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA
RESOLUTION FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN THE FAIRCHESTER AREA
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted "Policies and Procedures for
Local Assessment Projects" on June 20, 1967; and
WHEREAS, after due notice to the affected property owners and a
public hearing held in accordance with law and adopted policies, the City
Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, on September 17, 1968, authorized
certain improvements for which assessments may be made and caused an abstract
of a resolution showing the estimated amount to be assessed against each
landowner to be docketed in the ClerkIs office of the Circuit Court of
Fairfax County, Virginia; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works took the necessary action
and completed the construction of said improvements including sidewalk on
Fairchester Drive, and sidewalk, curb and gutter, and pavement widening on
Bevan Drive in accordance with the plans that were prepared.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the affected property owners listed
below be assessed an amount computed in accordance with adopted policies
based on actual project cost, but not exceeding the previously recorded
estimate.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the resolution adopted by the City
Council on September 17, 1968, and recorded at DB 3091, page 32 among the
land records of Fairfax County, Virginia be amended to show the final
assessment as shown below.
