AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CAROLINAS CHILD CARE, LLC AND THE
CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, FOR A PORTION OF THE CITY'S BURROWS
AVENUE RIGHT OF WAY LOCATED ADJACENT TO 3405 BURROWS AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the City's interest to enter into a
license agreement with Carolinas Child Care, LLC for the use of a portion of the City's
Burrows Avenue right of way located adjacent to 3405 Burrows Avenue and as shown more
completely in the proposed license agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to finalize and to execute, with the
concurrence of the City Attorney, a License Agreement between the City and Carolinas Child
Care, LLC, for the use of a portion of the City's Burrows Avenue right of way (adjacent to
3405 Burrows Avenue) for ingress/egress from the property in connection with an approved
child care business, on the terms and conditions contained within the proposed License
Agreement. The form of such License Agreement shall be substantially of the form attached
to this Ordinance.
This ordinance shall become effective as provided by law.
