AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A LICENSE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF FAIRFAX AND NEW CINGULAR WIRELESS PCS, LLC
FOR PLACEMENT OF WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES ON
EXISTING JOINT USE UTILITY POLES IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Virginia (the "City") desires to grant a license
agreement to New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, for the
placement of wireless communications facilities on certain existing joint use utility poles in the
pubic rights of way, as identified in the proposed License Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,
VIRGINIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
1. That the general form of the License Agreement attached to this ordinance is approved.
2. That the City Manager is authorized, on behalf of the City, to finalize and execute the
License Agreement, with any non -substantive changes as approved by the City Attorney.
This Ordinance shall become effective as provided by law.
