AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A LICENSE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF FAIRFAX AND JIM MCKAY CHEVROLET, INC., FOR
THE TEMPORARY USE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY THE
CITY PURSUANT TO A CERTIFICATE OF TAKE FILED IN CONNECTION WITH
THE NORTHFAX EAST (UNIVERSITY DRIVE EXTENDED) PROJECT, AND MORE
PARTICULARLY IDENTIFIED AS TAX MAP NO.57-2-02-027
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Virginia (the "City") is the owner of certain real
property with improvements thereon more particularly described as Tax Map No. 57-2-02-027
(the "Property"); and
WHEREAS, the City desires to license a portion of such Property to Jim McKay
Chevrolet, Inc.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,
VIRGINIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
1. That the general form of the License Agreement attached to this ordinance is approved.
2. That the City Manager is authorized, on behalf of the City, to finalize and execute the
License Agreement, with any non -substantive changes as may be negotiated by the City
Attorney.
This Ordinance shall become effective as provided by law.
