RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A MUTUAL
AID AGREEMENT WITH THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION
WATER/WASTEWATER AGENCY RESPONSE NETWORK
WHEREAS, the City is submitting a Mutual Aid Agreement to the Metropolitan
Washington Council of Governments to become a member agency of the
National Capital Region Water/Wastewater Agency Response Network
(NCR WARN).
WHEREAS, the Mutual Aid Agreement will allow the City to request wastewater
utility related infrastructure assistance from member agencies, and
allow the City to respond to requests for assistance from member
agencies in times of need.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia that the City Manager is hereby authorized to sign a Mutual Aid Agreement with
the National Capital Region WaterfWastewater Agency Response Network (NCR
WARN).
