RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA CITY COUNCIL OF
ENDORSEMENT OF THE CITY'S FY 21 & 22 REVENUE SHARING
APPLICATION
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax is submitting six applications for FY 21 and 22
Revenue Sharing funds.
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax City Council desires to submit applications for an allocation
of funds up to $9.6M to be matched through the Virginia Department of Transportation Fiscal
Year 2021-22 Revenue Sharing Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax City Council hereby supports these applications for an
allocation of funds up to $9.6M to be matched through the Virginia Department of
Transportation Revenue Sharing Program; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the City of Fairfax City Council hereby agrees to
commit to their share of the total cost for preliminary engineering, right-of-way and
construction of the project(s) in accordance with the project financial documents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby grants authority for City
Manager to execute project agreements for any approved revenue sharing projects for Fiscal
Year 2021-22.
