Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Sign the FY 19 agreement between the City
and the Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT)
WHEREAS, the City receives state grant funding from the Virginia Department of Rail and
Public Transportation (DRPT) for transit operating and capital to support the local CUE
system and WMATA; and
WHEREAS, DRPT has a Project Administration Agreement that establishes the terms and
conditions of the funding; and
WHEREAS, the City is required to execute these agreements in order to receive the funding.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia
that the City Manager is hereby authorized to sign the FY 19 agreement for CUE operating
assistance between the City and the Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT).
