Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Sign the CUE Access and Technology
Improvements Project Standard Project Agreement between the City and the Northern
Virginia Transportation Commission (NVTC)
WHEREAS, the City's CUE bus service provides an important connection for commuters to
regional bus and rail lines and supports efficient commuting choices; and
WHEREAS, the City applied for and was awarded funding from NVTC for the I-66
Commuter Choice Program to improve CUE bus stops and information
resources to improve transit connections for commuters inside the Beltway;
and
WHEREAS, NVTC has a Standard Project Agreement that establishes the terms and
conditions of the funding; and
WHEREAS, the City is required to execute this agreement in order to receive the funding.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia that the City Manager is hereby authorized to sign the Standard
Project Agreement for the CUE Access and Technology Improvements
Project between the City and the Northern Virginia Transportation
Commission (NVTC).
