AN ORDINANCE GRANTING LICENSES TO COMBINED PROPERTIES LIMITED
PARTNERSHIP TO USE FOR THE TERM AND UPON THE CONDITIONS
STATED HEREIN THE PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY IN THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,
VIRGINIA FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF CERTAIN
SIDEWALKS, LANDSCAPING AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA
(hereinafter referred to as "CITY") that COMBINED PROPERTIES LIMITED
PARTNERSHIP, (hereinafter referred to as "Combined Properties") for a period of five (5)
years, subject to the conditions and restrictions herein stated, is hereby authorized and
empowered on a non-exclusive basis to install, construct and maintain certain sidewalks,
electrical equipment and landscaping improvements within the CITY's Fairfax Boulevard,
Blake Lane and Lee. Highway rights-of-way within the corporate limits of the CITY, as the
same now exists or may hereafter be extended or altered.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the City Council of the CITY that the City Manager is
authorized and directed to execute one or more License Agreements containing the terms and
conditions contained herein subject to the concurrence of the City Attorney.
This ordinance shall become effective as provided by law.
