A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA CITY COUNCIL
OF ENDORSEMENT OF THE CITY'S FY 18 REVENUE SHARING
APPLICATIONS
WHEREAS, The City of Fairfax is submitting three applications for FY 19 and 20 Revenue
Sharing funds.
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax City Council desires to submit an application for an allocation
of funds up to $8M to be matched through the Virginia Department of Transportation Fiscal
Year 2019-2020 Revenue Sharing Program; and
WHEREAS, The City of Fairfax City Council hereby supports these applications for an
allocation of funds up to $8M to be matched through the Virginia Department of Transportation
Revenue Sharing Program; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT The City of Fairfax City Council hereby
agrees to commit to their share of the total cost for preliminary engineering, right-of-way and
construction of the project(s) in accordance with the project financial documents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Council hereby grants authority for City
Manager to execute project agreements for any approved revenue sharing projects for Fiscal
Year 2019-2020.
