STREET MAINTENANCE INVENTORY LIST
WHEREAS, Section 33.2-319 of the Code of Virginia provides for the
Commonwealth Transportation Board to make payment to cities for the maintenance of
streets that meet minimum standards, and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has added 0.61 lane miles of Principal/Minor Arterial
Roads and 0.30 lane miles of Collector/Local Streets due to new construction which meet the
minimum standards for maintenance funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia does hereby request the Commonwealth Transportation Board to accept the
attached listing of streets, being a net addition of 0.61 lane miles of Principal/Minor Arterial
Roads and 0.30 lane miles of Collector/Local Streets, as being eligible for maintenance funds.
