PERFORMANCE REVIEWS OF CITY COUNCIL APPOINTEES
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby adopts the following guidelines for the
performance reviews of the City Manager and the City Attorney, and for providing the City
Council's input into the annual evaluation of the City Clerk by the City Manager:
1. The City Council shall annually review the job performance of the City Attorney and
the City Manager within sixty (60) days prior to the adoption of the budget, or on a
date otherwise selected by the City Council.
2. The City Council shall provide input into the annual evaluation of the City Clerk by
the City Manager. The City Manager shall provide thirty (30) days' notice to the City
Council prior to the City Clerk's evaluation. The City Manager shall incorporate the
City Council's comments into the City Clerk's evaluation.
