STREET MAINTENANCE INVENTORY LIST
WHEREAS, Section 33.1-44.1 of the Code of Virginia provides for the Commonwealth
Transportation Board to make payment to cities for the maintenance of streets that meet
minimum standards, and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has added 0. 18 lane miles of city streets due to new
construction which meet the minimum standards for maintenance funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia does hereby request the Commonwealth Transportation Board to accept the attached
listing of streets, being a net addition of 0.18 lane miles, as being eligible for maintenance
funds.
