AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 98, ARTICLE IV, SECTION 98-215 OF
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, BY AMENDING
SUBSECTION (1), EXPANDING THE PERMIT PARKING DISTRICT ON FOREST
AVENUE
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 98-214 of the Code of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia (the "City Code"), the City Manager has reviewed the criteria for expanding a permit
parking district along a portion of Forest Avenue, and has recommended the expansion of the
permit parking district as set forth in this ordinance; and
WHEREAS, following the required public hearing, the City Council finds that the
requirements of Chapter 98, Article IV, have been met.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia, that Chapter 98, Article IV, Section 98-215 of the Code of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia is hereby amended to expand subsection (1), to read in its entirety as
follows: "(1) Forest Avenue between Sideburn Road and Berritt Street.
This ordinance shall become effective as provided by law.
