RESOLUTION TO INITIATE AND REFER TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION A
ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT TO AMEND CHAPTER 110,ARTICLE II,
DIVISION 11, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA,
PERTAINING TO STORM DRAINAGE FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, Chapter 110 (the "Zoning Ordinance") of the Code of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, may be adopted and amended when the City Council deems such action to be in the
public interest by promoting the general welfare of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the general welfare and good zoning
practice require the amendment of Chapter 110, Article II, Division 11, of the Code of City of
Fairfax, Virginia, pertaining to storm drainage facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council refer to the City
Planning Commission for public hearing and recommendation proposed text amendments to
Chapter 110, Article II, Division 11, of the Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia.
