AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 42,ARTICLE IV, SECTION 42-92 OF
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,VIRGINIA, PERTAINING TO FIRE
PREVENTION AND PROTECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, that Chapter 42,
Article IV, section 42-92 of the Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, pertaining to fire
prevention and protection, is hereby amended as follows:
"Chapter 42 —FIRE PREVENTION AND PROTECTION
ARTICLE IV. —FIRE PREVENTION CODE
Sec. 42-92. —Additions and deletions.
Pursuant to Code of Virginia, § 27-97, the city hereby adopts, as if set out in length in
this section, the amendments and additional regulations to the Virginia Statewide Fire
Prevention Code promulgated by the city fire marshal, entitled "Virginia Statewide Fire
Prevention Code — City of Fairfax Amendments and Additional Regulations" dated as of
September 15, 2012 September 17, 2013."
This ordinance shall become effective as provided by law.
