AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION THE RATE BY 0.0 /o AN THE
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, TO INCREASE THE WATER
WASTEWATER RATE BY 10.0%.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that Section 02-31,
Article II. Chapter 102 of the Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia is amended to reatcl in its
entirety as follows:
Sec. 102-31. - Water and wastewater service rates.
(a) The rate for water service furnished by the city shall be as follows:
(1) Residential consumers. For the first 5,000 gallons or less per quarter $23.92
and per 1,000 gallons for all water in excess of 5,000 gallons $4.57.
(2) Commercial consumers. For the first 5,000 gallons or less per month $28.12
and per 1,000 gallons for all water in excess of 5,000 gallons $4.57.
(b) The rate for wastewater service furnished by the city shall be as follows:
(1) Residential consumers. For
