APPROVAL OF A LEASE AGREEMENT LEASE/PURCHASE O F LEASING & FINANCING TWELVE VEHICLES
AND IECES OF EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the FY2013 Capital Budget including the
lease-purchase of twelve (12) replacement nsec and
subject touannual tappropriation
payments of$149,300 to be paid for five consecutive years,
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, these vehicles and pieces of equipment are needed to replace current
inventory that has exceeded its current useful life;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia, that the City Manager is authorized and directed to finalize and execute any
necessary documentation in connection with the above-referenced transaction, in form
approved by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia hereby approves and ratifies each of the resolutions contained in that certain
Resolution and Certificate of Incumbency to the extent not already contained within this
resolution.
