A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE OPERATION
CITY OF PHYS CIAN'S TRANSPORT
SERVICE IN TH E
WHEREAS,Physicians Transport Service (PTS) currently operates as a licensed
EMS agency in Northern Virginia providing inter-facility patient transports in the National
Capital Region;
WHEREAS,the Commonwealth of Virginia under Virginia Administrative Code
(12VAC5-31-420)requires all licensed EMS agencies to request an ordinance or resolution
from all jurisdictions they will be operating in;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax does hereby approve Physicians Transport Service to operate within the geographical
boundaries of the City of Fairfax.
ADOPTED this 11`h day of September 2012.
